I am originally from La Habra, CA located in Orange County. I was blessed with growing up around some of the best baseball in arguably the world. I attended and graduated Whittier Christian High school with honors. From there I attended Rio Hondo Junior College, and Graduated with a B.S. in Business from San Diego Christian College in 2021, and Graduated with a M.S. in Leadership (Sports Admin Emphasis) from San Diego Christian College in 2022.
My 16-year playing career, spanning ages 6 to 22, included stints at Rio Hondo College and San Diego Christian College. This period was enriched by training with top catchers nationwide and, during COVID, catching for over 20 minor league and MLB pitchers in live at-bats and mini-games. Post-earning my master's degree after a fifth year in college, I transitioned from playing to a full-time role in baseball, focusing on coaching to make a more significant impact on the sport.
My coaching journey began early; at 12, I was already seen as a future coach, a passion that became evident at 14 while working as a junior coach for the Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA). By 16, I was conducting lessons and, at 17, I assumed the role of pitching and catching coordinator for FCA, expanding my influence. College years saw me actively improving teammates' skills and delving into the latest sports data. At 21, I launched CH Catching/Hitting, quickly attracting a full roster of high school and junior high talents, eventually expanding the business to San Diego in 2021. My client base now spans 7-year-olds to minor leaguers, and on the hitting side, up to college level. My network has grown to encompass coaches at high school, college, minor league, and major league levels globally.
